Saturdays from 3:00-4:30 pm Maximum Number of Students: 10 Class dates: November 2nd, 16th, 23rd December 7th, 14th, 21st January 4th, 18th, 25th February 1st Class Syllabus: Session 1 - Exchange greetings / Use basic classroom expressions Session 2 - Give a simple self-introduction / Talk briefly about your family Session 3 - Talk about your favorite foods / Order food at a hamburger shop. Talk with a friend about where to go for lunch Session 4 - Talk about your home Session 5 - Talk about your daily routine and your schedule for this week Session 6 - Talk about your hobbies Session 7 - Say how to get a destination, using a map Session 8 - Talk about what you want to buy Session 9 - Say what you did on your day off Session 10 - Let's freely talk using what we have learned so far |
Your Instructor:
Mayumi Soeda Sensei is from Nagasaki Japan and has a strong passion for Japanese language and literature. She has a master's degree in linguistics from Nagasaki University and a bachelor’s degree in Japanese literature from Kumamoto University. Soeda Sensei has been a licensed teacher for middle and high school Japanese literature for 32 years and specializes in teaching Japanese language at the university level. Furthermore, she also successfully passed the Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test, demonstrating her expertise in this field. In addition to her teaching qualifications, Mayumi San is a Japanese calligraphy instructor (Shodo) with a 5 Dan level of expertise in calligraphy with a Level 2 achievement in the Kanji Proficiency Exam. She is married and has 2 grown children. |
