JAPAN FESTIVAL EUSTIS 2026
Event Organizers:
ARCHING OAKS ART & CULTURE CENTER
Located in Eustis, Florida on 20 rural acres, Arching Oaks Art & Culture Center is a 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is dedicated to promoting awareness and appreciation of Japanese artistic and cultural traditions. It is, geographically speaking, the largest Japanese cultural center in the United States.
Arching Oaks Arts and Culture Center is dedicated to providing its community with high-quality, artistic and cultural experiences rooted in Japanese tradition and facilitated by experts in their fields and is also the home to Florida Budokan, where the traditional Budo arts of Iaido (Japanese swordsmanship), Kyudo (Japanese archery), and Karatedo (self-defense) are taught.
The Arching Oaks facility boasts two dojo spaces, including one of only four traditional Japanese Kyudojos (training space for Japanese archery) in the country. A traditional Japanese tea room, indoor and outdoor classroom spaces for instruction in Japanese arts and crafts and educational lectures, as well as walking trails and a large pond for the practice of Shinrin Yoku (Forest Bathing) can also be found on the property. Although Arching Oaks Arts and Culture Center has been in operation since only 2019, its reputation has steadily grown as it continues to implement its mission of providing unique, artistic and cultural experiences to all members of the community.
